Dr. Mary Butler
Telemedicine Behavioral Health Physician
A Passion for Healing
After witnessing the struggles of friends and loved ones with mental health issues, I decided to leave teaching and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. Initially, I was planning on specializing in psychiatry. Unexpectedly, my psychiatry advisor directed me toward family medicine, as many patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health issues turn to family medicine doctors first.
Integrative Approach
When I started Beauty For Ashes Behavioral Health, PLLC, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I knew I wanted to combine my family medicine knowledge, psychiatric training, and naturopathic insights to establish a telemedicine practice focused on integrative psychiatry. I enjoy staying updated on the latest treatments for mental health. Although I am not a licensed counselor, expanding my knowledge to include various therapy modalities enables me to offer supportive therapy that enhances your overall well-being.
Patient-Centered Care
I prioritize giving you the time and attention you deserve. Understanding that mental health issues are complex and often linked to physical conditions, I create a safe environment for open discussions. My goal is to work together to address your health holistically.
Prioritizing Your Healing Journey
I do not work with insurance companies, which ensures that our partnership focuses solely on your care, free from the influence of insurance administrators. Together, we will base our approach on evidence-based practices, your insights, and my expertise.
If you are seeking a personized approach to your mental and emotional well-being, I’m here to help.
